WE ARE THE ONES WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR… ~ Wilfong

Wyllene Watson-Wilfong summed it up beautifully:”We must become the change we want to see…” – With a message we carry that, out of many; we are one. ~ Wilfong

Notice how “innocently” begins a lot of recounts of Obama’s decision to forego the flawed “public funding system” and go with his tested and proven, “We Are the Ones” system.  Watch the doubters “turn” to cynicism and doubt and fear, at the very thought of what it (the system) stands for.

Obama got it right when he said, “But the public financing of presidential elections as it exists today is broken, and we face opponents who have become masters at gaming this broken system.”  That’s why he’s sticking with his “We Are the Ones” vibrant, smoothly working, fueled-by-the people system.

The “We Are the Ones” system has grown to one and a half million people, all coming together as one.   As Barack Obama says, “Out of many, we are one.”  How, beautiful is the thought, “We are many that have become one.”  But, to others it is scary, “They’re getting themselves together.” “They don’t give much at one time.  But, they give what they can, and they do it often, and regularly.

Part of the fear is the “diversity” of the group that’s rallying around this candidate.  The numbers and diversity is awesome, in and of itself.  And, to see it managed and led by a commander-in-chief that is so articulate, capable, charismatic and effective, causes pure panic in the minds of those who are for the status quo. This one and a half million we are, today, is likely to turn into FOUR million or more, by November.

“Hope and Change” has become our slogan.  Think about it.  What better way for folk to indicate their faith and trust, than to give their time and money to a campaign, and thus develop a cause, around which a movement is created.  Listen carefully to Barack Obama’s words in the “We Are One” video.

“We are the ones, we’ve been waiting for.”  He repeats that phrase three times during the first phase.  Then in the background of the second phrase you hear Barack Obama’s voice,

“With a new wind at our backs, we take this journey across this great country. With a message we carry that, out of many; we are one. That while we breath we will hope. And where we are met with cynicism and doubt and fear and those who tell us we can’t, We shall respond with the timeless creed that sums up the spirit of the American people, the three simple words….YES… WE CAN…”

Wyllene Watson-Wilfong summed it up beautifully:”We must become the change we want to see…”

And, so we shall…..

The struggle continues, until we succeed-and we shall-YES WE CAN!!!!!

They can talk all they want, they can have their cynicism, doubt and fear- it ain’t gonna turn us ’round. “We must become the change that we want to see.” This is truly our tine it is our moment. And, we got a righteous mission.

Obama 2008, when a real and honest, public financing became a reality.
