The Impact of foreign policy on US Small Businesses over the next 8 years

According to definition, a commander-in-chief is the commander of a nation’s military forces or significant element of those forces. The Constitution of the United States gives the title to the President of the United States, who “shall be Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States”.

This is an important definition and context of which the 8-PAC presumptive 44th US president elect – Senator Barack Obama must be discussed. Moreover, the implications of his command, as it pertains to small business must be deep within our cognitive considerations.

As such, while our esteemed contributor, Mr. Hank Wilfong, discusses the domestic and very strategic implications of Economic Empowerment, Economic Parity, Entrepreneurship and the prospects of ” Building the Perfect [SBA] 8(a) Program” – Wilfong’s Corner; we will begin a separate series of essays and other publishing in regard to his administration and what we think the impact of foreign policy on small business should be.

Our core areas of discussion will be:

  • Oil
  • Outsourcing
  • Global Business Development

Indeed, while the Republican Party continues to fly towards a mountain in the dark, we hope to help the Democratic Party develop a small business agenda that is not centered on arguing over the shape of the table; but more towards sitting down to talk with those whose ideology they will need to understand for CHANGE to truly occur.

The cultural and philosophical divide between Democrat and Republican small business owners can and must be bridged, if we are to unite to the end of our common prosperity.
