I looked in the dictionary for the word hypocrisy, and there it was a big picture of Hillary Clinton. Now, did I just “mispeak”, did I “exagerate” or did I plain ol’ lie? But, I could make a plausible argument that I neither misspoke, exaggerated or lied.
Tell you what. My story would be just as true as some of the stuff that The Clintons have been putting out lately. Hypocrisy was one of the “real bad” things I picked up as a youngster, attending the Church of God in Christ, up on North Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena, California.
I don’t mean to throw mud, but the nerve of Hillary Clinton “slamming Obama”, as the newspaper reports, over his failure to quit the church he belonged to; because of the failings of his minister. The minister that Hillary is now “damning”, is the same minister that she and her husband Bill had as one of the “special guests” to the White House to “counsel” Bill Clinton during his “personal crisis”.
By the way what an innocent way to phrase that. “Personal crisis”, how innocently that sounds. It almost sounds like deliberating over why he chose to go to USC instead of UCLA. Bad analogy. Maybe. But, try telling that to a Trojan or a Bruin. Bill Clinton was a perpetrator. And, Hillary Clinton was an enabler. That time in the late 90s, was a terrible time, as we found the Clinton Administration under fire over some things he did, and she “enabled” him to do and continue to do.
hy·poc·ri·sy (h-pkr-s) n. pl. hy·poc·ri·sies 1. The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness. 2. An act or instance of such falseness.
In other words, it’s like someone acting like they are qualified to be commander in chief; while not knowing the difference between sniper fire and typewriter clatter. Or, like someone claiming to be a leader but not being able to keep her husband on the straight and narrow.
I guess that’s the reason Hillary Clinton’s picture is in the dictionary, and where it is…
