As a small business owner and/or advocate, you probably receive emails day-in and day-out inviting you to this function or that function – with the lure of helping you get contracts (or helping your constituents get contracts). In many cases, it appears these industries are doing better from the expansion of their market than the businesses they target to help.
A small business owner and advocate for more than 12 years myself, I have founded & developed The “Small Business Talk Show” communication platform “For Us, And By Us” to help save your and my precious time and resources– and it is FREE.
The “Small Business Talk Show” platform [right here @ www.8vsb.wordpress.com] has an ongoing commitment to minimize the burden of understanding the maze of services offered by “Disparity Consultants”, “SDB Certifiers” and “Small Business Development Organizations” which have become cottage industries as a result of the continued exclusion of small businesses from America’s most lucrative circles of contracting.
As a result, we are conducting a series of radio interviews that we are calling, “A closer look at the Small Business Chittlin’ Circuit”, with various organizations and government agencies to provide the inquiring small business owner with the maximum amount of information about these prospective support organizations at a minimum cost to their time and resources.
Beginning in May 2010, this series will start in the 3rd Largest city in the United States, Houston, Texas (Houston Live!: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/houston-live ) and expand to the National (The Small Business Talk Show: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/small-business ) stage shortly thereafter.
